Professional Learning and Development Support from The Education Group

You will be aware in the MOE School Bulletin circulated on 25 March and further clarified on 2 April 2020 that there are new provisions enabled by the MOE for schools from now until 30 June 2020. (This date could be extended by the MOE)

We are keen to deliver already planned PLD via online platforms e.g. PLGs, Appraisal, Coaching/Critical Friend meetings, Appointments, Leadership Development, Reviews, Curriculum Development
If you have current MOE PLD planned with an Education Group Director, you can continue with this or repurpose these existing hours, so we can support you in any way you require
If you have PLD booked with The Education Group, we can change the focus to meet your current needs
You can also request new PLD, funded by the MOE, through enquiries@education.govt.nz

Support we are able to offer includes:

Online programme support through Zoom, Skype, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite
Leadership advice
Change management support
Pedagogical support and advice
Subject specific help e.g. NCEA support
Ākonga and whānau support and engagement
Transitioning to distance and online learning
Physical and emotional wellbeing
Student achievement tracking, evaluation, assessment
Lesson planning
Online webinars

The Bulletins make it clear that the MOE is very keen to support whatever needs schools have at this challenging time.

The Education Group has been allocated hours to support you which we could use with you if you put in a request through pld.enquiries@education.govt.nz by 6 April 2020.
