This is an exciting opportunity for an effective educator or leader who wants to join and lead in our growing community-based school.

Our current Deputy Principal is leaving to take up a Principal’s Position and we are looking for someone who wants to strongly connect and build relationships with our ākonga, our staff and our whānau. We are looking to support and grow a leader with their heart and their head.

We are looking for a leader or to grow a leader who:

  • Can operate across the school from Year 0 – 8 with the support and encouragement of a highly experienced leadership team
  • Can support our Te Ao Māori enrichment classes and brings a passion to support and develop bi-lingual and English pathways enrichment and achievement
  • Can lead and support curriculum implementation and practice
  • Wants to engage and support our diverse Māori and Pasifka learners and their whānau
  • Has a restorative mindset and will keep learning at the centre
  • Brings expertise in literacy (preferable)
