Welcome to Te Uho o te Nikau, affectionately known as The Heart of the Nikau, nestled in Flatbush, Ormiston with a student roll of 500. At the core of Te Uho is our belief in strong, positive relationships that benefit the heartbeat of our school - our tamariki.

Our logo of three nikau palms connected together truly represents our 'Dream Team' of educators, our supportive whānau, and amazing tamariki. Here, we foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where diversity is celebrated, strong teaching and learning is experienced, and growth is nurtured.

The board is seeking an experienced educational leader with a vision and belief in the transformative power of education, along with a deep passion to advance student achievement and make a difference. We are looking for someone dedicated to Te Ao Māori, Tikanga Māori, and willing to engage with and build upon our current goals while offering a clear vision to lead our school into an exciting future.
