"Where Learning Makes a Difference"

Following the retirement of our much-loved and long-serving principal, we are excited to welcome a new leader who can guide our school confidently into its next chapter. With a current roll of over 700 students, and capacity to grow to 1000, our school is proud to be known as a place where students, staff, and whānau genuinely feel they belong. We are an inclusive and vibrant multicultural community, enriched by more than 40 spoken languages.

At the heart of our school are our vision, values, and partnerships, which shape our purpose and our relationships:

  • Our Vision: Where Learning Makes a Difference is brought to life through our commitment to continuous learning (Whakatiputipu).
  • Partnership: A strong three-way learning relationship between students, parents, and staff, ensuring all voices are heard and valued.
  • Our REACH Values: Respect (Whakaute), Excellence (Kairangi), Aroha and Caring (Aroha), Collaboration (Mahi tahi), and Honesty (Ngākaupono).

We are looking for an inspirational and courageous leader who will:

  • Bring proven leadership experience, working effectively with the Board, Senior Leadership Team, and staff to drive our vision and strategic goals through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Be visible, approachable, and engaged, connecting authentically with students, whānau, and our multicultural community.
  • Lead with a deep understanding of culturally responsive practice, and what this looks like in a diverse school setting.
  • Set and uphold high expectations, committing to improved academic progress, achievement, and equitable outcomes for all learners.
  • Model empathy, respect, kindness, and care, with a sense of fun and warmth that makes people feel welcome
