St Francis is a full Catholic primary school in the heart of historic Thames. It has a roll of around 90 ethnically diverse Year 1–8 students. Our kura is an integral part of the Thames Catholic community, sharing a site with St Francis Parish.

  • Strengthen connections so that all students and their whānau feel a genuine sense of belonging.
  • Communicate effectively with the Board, staff, students, and wider community.

Condition of Appointment. Our new Principal will have a willingness and ability to take part in the religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school. The appointee will be required to accept and recognise the responsibility to maintain and preserve the special character of the school.
