Our ideal candidate will be

• skilled at mentoring and coaching to grow our teachers
• have a deep understanding of the Refreshed New Zealand Curriculum, especially in the English Learning Area, Structured Literacy, Assessment for Learning pedagogy and practices
• capable at using and analysing data to inform decisions, track student progress, and guide curriculum development
• have the ability to communicate clearly with staff, students, parents, and the broader community
• understand and respond to the needs of students, staff, and families with care and sensitivity
• be able to work collaboratively and have a great sense of humour
