Mission Heights Junior College is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead our vibrant, multicultural school of around 934 students and 85 staff in East Auckland.

MHJC operates a unique four schools within a school model (Takutai – Coast, Ngahere – Forest, Wai-Water, and Maunga - Mountain), built around innovative, personalised learning and a curriculum delivered through integrated, co-constructed contexts. We have strong and enduring links with Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki, whose whakapapa is woven through our school haka and shared history on this whenua.

We are looking for a Principal who will:

• Provide strategic and educational leadership that builds on our reputation for innovative practice
• Champion personalised, student-centred learning across our four-school structure
• Strengthen partnerships with our diverse community, whānau and iwi
• Lead a large staff with integrity, clarity and manaakitanga

The successful candidate will bring proven senior leadership experience, a strong understanding of curriculum innovation, and a genuine commitment to equity and student wellbeing.
