Red Beach School is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our vibrant and connected learning community as Principal. Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast, Red Beach School is a well-established and highly regarded contributing primary school with a strong sense of community, a commitment to student wellbeing, and a focus on high-quality teaching and learning.

Our next Principal will be a visible, relational and future-focused leader who values strong partnerships with students, staff, whānau and the wider community. We are looking for someone who leads with integrity, empathy and clear communication, and who understands the importance of building trust through authentic relationships and collaboration.

The Successful Applicant Will:

  • Demonstrate strong educational leadership
  • Have excellent curriculum knowledge
  • Be committed to achieving equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
  • Be the Lead Principal for Twin Coast RTLB Cluster 3
  • Inspire innovation while continuing to strengthen the school’s positive culture, inclusive practices and well-rounded opportunities in learning, sport, arts and culture
  • Understands the needs of specialist education and have oversight of Motuora -Special Needs Unit
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a genuine commitment to culturally responsive leadership, te reo Māori and tikanga Māori
