Guided by our Mercy Charism and bicultural identity, we offer a warm, welcoming environment where faith, community, and lived values like aroha and manaakitanga shape everyday school life.

Our Board seeks an inspiring, child-centred Principal to lead our close-knit Catholic school. This exceptional opportunity is for an existing school leader ready for the ‘next step’ in their career. The school has a stable roll of 50 students and a principal salary scale equivalent to a U3 school

  • Educational Excellence:Drive student progress with expertise in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and inclusive practices. Cultivate future-focused opportunities in sport, arts, culture, STEM, service, and leadership.
  • Collaborative Leadership:Grow staff capability and provide hands-on support (including facilitating classroom release time). Value student, parent, and staff voice to lead transformational change.
  • Cultural Responsiveness:Give meaningful effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi within our school environment and curriculum.
  • Operational Management:Deliver sound organisational and financial leadership while positively raising the school's community profile.
