Te Kōpuru School is a proud, whānau-focused rural school where relationships, respect, and student success sit at the heart of everything we do.
Situated alongside the Northern Wairoa River, our school reflects the rich history, culture, and diversity of our community. We are now proud to offer two bilingual Māori classes, which play an important role in supporting te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the identity of many of our learners.
As a Board, we are seeking an experienced leader who will embrace our values, build strong relationships with our whānau and wider community, and provide the leadership and guidance needed to support and lift the success of our school.
We seek a Principal who can work collaboratively with the Board, staff, students, and community, bringing proven educational leadership and a commitment to fostering positive outcomes for everyone.
A school house for rent and Principals Recruitment Allowance may be available for the successful candidate.
To arrange a visit to the school, please see details in the application pack.
Appointment commences Term 4, 2026
