The opportunity
You might assume a role in Deaf education isn’t for you, especially if you don’t yet know NZSL. But in our classrooms, strong core teaching skills are truly valued. They’re what help our students thrive.
So even if you don’t have experience in Deaf education or NZSL yet, don’t count yourself out. We’re looking for excellent teachers who already bring those specialist skills, or who are genuinely committed to developing them.
“If you’re ready to use those teaching skills where they matter most, this could be you. And we’ll support you all the way.”
