Situated in a beautiful bush-clad valley beside Scenic Drive in the Waitākere Ranges of West Auckland, our school sits at the heart of Woodlands Park. We are proud of the strong, friendly and vibrant community that identifies closely with and actively supports its school.
We are looking for a highly effective practitioner with the professional credibility, curriculum knowledge and leadership capability to:
- strengthen teaching practice and improve outcomes for all learners
- support the continued implementation of the refreshed English and mathematics curricula, while leading development across other curriculum areas
- grow teachers through professional growth cycles, classroom observations, coaching, mentoring and purposeful professional learning
- identify opportunities, lead well-planned systemic change and evaluate the impact of initiatives

- think strategically, work collaboratively and manage people, events, systems and competing priorities with confidence and care
- provide regular teacher release as required
The successful applicant will place students at the heart of every decision and bring cultural responsiveness, integrity, sound judgement, optimism and resilience to the role along with a sense of humor!
In return, you will join a supportive leadership team and work alongside an engaged Board and welcoming community. You will have meaningful opportunities to extend your leadership, contribute to the future direction of the school and continue growing professionally.
