  • 1-day programme (day one is face to face, day two is online via zoom)
  • Face to face: $395 + GST per person or $360 + GST pp for 3 or more registrations from the same school
  • Online: $360 + GST pp

This one-day course is designed specifically for Secondary School Specialist Classroom Teachers (SCTs), as outlined in the PPTA Collective Agreement.

The programme focuses on strengthening the SCT’s role as a pedagogical leader, mentor, and professional development facilitator within their school.

Participants will explore strategies for:

  • Leading teaching and learning initiatives across departments
  • Supporting colleagues through mentoring and coaching
  • Promoting collaborative inquiry and reflective practice
  • Navigating the balance between classroom teaching and leadership responsibilities
  • Enhancing student outcomes through evidence-based approaches

This interactive workshop will include, peer discussion, and practical planning sessions.

SCTs will leave with:

  • a clearer understanding of their role,
  • a toolkit of leadership strategies; and
  • an action plan to support teacher growth and student success in their school.

Workshop Information:

  • Time: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Registration from 8:15 am
